Connecting with Buddies

Haven is better with friends. Buddies are mutual connections who get priority in the matchmaking system.

🔍 Finding members

1. Member List: In any Sangha room, click on a user's name.
2. Add Friend: Click "Add Buddy" to send a connection request.
3. Friend Request: The other user receives a notification in their ConnectionsView.tsx.

🛡️ Buddy Matchmaking (Priority)

Once connected:

1. Choose Buddy Mode: In the 1-on-1 Chat page (/chat), select "Buddies First".
2. The Queue: The system will search for your friends who are also in the "Buddies First" queue.
3. Seamless Transition: Match with your best vibe partners before exploring the global community.

💡 Why Connect?

• Direct Messages (DMs): Chat one-on-one even when you aren't in a shared Sangha.
• Online Status: See when your buddies are active and join their session instantly.
• Vibe Together: Build a trusted circle for long-term accountability.
